Your tvLINK
tvLINK allows you to watch your Sky channels on a second TV in your home and is compatible with your Sky box and with most TVs.

   1. I'm having a problem with my tvLINK. What should I do?
If your Sky tvLink is not working, first check that it is receiving power through its RF connector. The RF outlet power supply is a trip switch, so the process of isolating the power to the tvLINK then restoring it usually resolves this type of problem.

      RF OUTLET POWER SUPPLY CHECK

         1. Using the Sky remote control, press the Services button.
         2. Using the up/down arrow buttons, highlight option 4 and press select.
         3. Press numbers 0, 1 and then press select.
         4. Highlight option 4 and press select.
         5. Highlight RF Outlet Power Supply and using the left/right arrow buttons ensure setting is set to Off.
         6. Highlight Save New Settings and press select.
         7. Highlight option 4 and press select.
         8. Highlight RF Outlet Power Supply and using the left/right arrow buttons ensure setting is set to On.
         9. Highlight Save New Settings and press select.
        10. Press the sky button to return to normal viewing.

If this does not solve your problem check that the RF cable is correctly routed to your Sky box, the maximum recommended length of cabling is 30m metres. Never attempt to reconnect the tvLINK cable to the RF Out-2 connector at the back of the Sky box, whilst it is still receiving power from the mains. This is because the tvLINK receives nine volts from the Sky box and by doing so could cause irreparable damage to the tvLINK.

   2.
         1. Switch the Sky box on to standby and then unplug it from the mains.
         2. Switch your TV off using the power button then switch it straight back on again.
         3. Ensure that the tvLINK cable is connected from the RF Out-2 connector at the back of Sky box before any equipment such as a video cassette recorder.
         4. Switch the power supply back on at the mains and wait 60 seconds after the red light has appeared.
         5. Using the Sky remote control, press the tv button followed by the sky button.
         6. Select the channel on the second TV which Sky is normally viewed on.
         7. Using the second Sky remote control press the tv button, then the sky button, followed by the numbers 501.

The tvLINK can be connected to your video cassette recorder’s aerial input as long as it is also connected to the cable from the Sky box.
